Selecting Your Soapstone

Your journey begins with a visit to our showroom at 17 Enterprise Ave, Unit H. Bring a rough drawing and measurements of your project to help us understand your needs. Explore a variety of soapstone colors, along with sink, faucet, and backsplash samples. We’ll help you match your cabinets and tiles to choose the perfect soapstone for your space and budget. After selecting your stone, we’ll provide an estimate based on your measurements. Please note that soapstone is a highly variable material, and no two pieces are exactly alike. To move forward, a signed quote and 40% deposit are required.

Measurements

For projects within city limits, our team will visit your home to take precise measurements. Final measurements may adjust the total square footage and project cost, which we’ll confirm with you. Prepare by reviewing our Measurement Checklist to ensure everything is ready for an accurate measurement.

Fabricating Countertop

Fabrication

Using state-of-the-art CNC technology, we’ll craft your soapstone countertops in our workshop. Fabrication typically takes 4-5 business days. This process is completed offsite to minimize dust and disruption in your home.

Installing countertop

Installation

Our skilled team will install your countertops in 3-4 hours for an average-sized kitchen. To ensure a smooth installation, please: Clear walkways, driveways, and paths to the installation area. Empty all cabinets and drawers beneath the countertops. Remove breakable items and cover nearby items to protect them from dust. Have faucets and other items ready for drilling into the countertops. Remove old countertops (unless specified in your agreement). Disconnect plumbing (Granstone will fasten the sink but will not reconnect plumbing). Move large appliances out of the installation area.
